Repeat this step with three items you can hear and then three sensations you feel. Count down slowly from three to one. This is a good means to shift your attention from the external to the internal.

Lastly, focus internally on three items you can envision, then three sounds and feelings you can envisage. Remain in this highly relaxed state until you feel like your allotted time has come to an end – you can then open your eyes. The more you practice the deeper you will meditate. With repeated practice of these steps you will speedily become an expert at how to hypnotise yourself.
